My name is Theresa Eksteen, I grew up in a small coastal town called Struisbaai. I am a Christian, daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother.
I have always had a passion for creating beautiful and yummy treats and used to spoil my family with my first attempts as young as 14 years old.
During my studies at The North West University Potchefstroom Campus, I lived in a ladies residence named Karlien. I started a small muffin baking business in Karlien. It wasn’t long before I was known as the muffin girl and my business excelled until I finally graduated and had to say my goodbyes.
After graduating as a Pharmacist (B.Pharm) and serving my community for a few years, I realised that my true passion lay in putting smiles on others' faces with my baking and not just in the pharmacy. I baked for my family and friends and soon enough friends of friends started to contact me.
Since 2021, I have been a pharmacist by day and baker by night. My business has been so blessed that I could move out of the kitchen in our home, into my own little bakery at the back of our property.
My dream is to be able to support my family doing what I love from home and not far away from the inside of a pharmacy. Supporting my small business means supporting my dream.
